Blaine Gabbert has prototypical size for the quarterback position. He has an arm that can make every throw in the playbook. He is patient and confident in the pocket. His mechanics are strong, and he has a nice, compact release. He is a very solid pocket passer.

Blaine Gabbert has excellent size and mobility. In fact, Blaine Gabbert is deceptively quick and fast and shows very good pocket presence. He can make the tough and accurate throws on the run, showing good field vision and poise. Blaine Gabbert shows a very good arm and he throws a great long ball. He also shows the ability to throw the deep out. Blaine Gabbert can also throw with touch. He is accurate and smart.

His skills do not end there, however. Blaine Gabbert also is a nice athlete. He also shows a great ability to avoid pressure and move around in the pocket. Blaine Gabbert will be a nice fit in the Gary Pinkel spread look, where the quarterback has always been an impact player on the ground.

Blaine Gabbert played nearly his entire senior year with a shoulder injury. He was limited to only 102 pass attempts. 

Blaine Gabbert Was originally a Nebraska commit before switching to rival Mizzou

As a junior, Blaine Gabbert passed for 1,523 yards and 20 touchdowns (seven interceptions) and added an additional 458 yards and nine more scores on the ground to help lead his team to an 8-2 record and a trip to the playoffs; He benches 295 pounds, squats 285 and vertical jumps 33-inches.

Blaine Gabbert reports a 4.1 core GPA (with honors classes) and a 25 ACT.

Blaine Gabbert: "I have a strong and accurate arm. I have great speed and good escapability. I'm really aggressive and never second guess myself. I want to keep improving in everything and become a better overall quarterback. I'd like to read the plays better and learn to throw into all types of different coverages."
